Company Description Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support. We do require our CAREGivers to have transport to enable you to visit clients in locations that are poorly serviced by public transport. Job Description CAREGiving to the elderly is more than just a job, you can turn it into a Professional Career. We offer Award Winning Training and are happy to encourage all of our CAREGivers to study for the qualifications that can start your career progression. WE are looking for CAREGivers who are commited to a career in care and who can work flexibly covering shifts between 8.00am - 2.00pm and 4.00pm - 10.00pm and who will happily cover shifts either on a Saturday or a Sunday (or both if your keen) on alternate week-ends. We offer our clients companionship, home help and personal care (help with washing and dressing) sometimes you will take clients out to appointments, or to social events, sometimes you will join them in a cup of tea and a good chin wag. If you have your own transport which is a necessity and you are looking for that first step on the ladder then call us today. Qualifications We undertake to fully train you so the desire to care for people and being reliable is far more important than any academic qualification or previous experience. What is very important is your communication skills, you will need to communicate face to face with elderly people so you need to be clear and concise.
