Company Description Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support. We do require our CAREGivers to have transport to enable you to visit clients in locations that are poorly serviced by public transport. Job Description If you have a strength of personality with a compassionate nature but a heap of common sense who gets a lot of personal satisfaction from being needed and looking after the vulnerable then we want to speak to you now. Our aim is to ensure that we have people who are capable of facing these problems face to face, and to do so with compassion, kindness mixed in with a lot of laughter. We are looking for great people to join our team. We operate a shift based system and are looking for people who can work a mixture of the following shifts 8.00am - 2.00pm and 4.00pm - 10.00pm, we also require our people to work some shifts every other week-end. These shifts are flexible and we can work around these times for the right people with the right attitude to the profession. We do insist that all our CAREGivers have their own transport because you will sometimes be asked to take your client to a doctors appointment or shopping, or even when the weathers nice to a social event, it can be a lot of fun ! Qualifications We will train you in all aspects of care and how to look after people in their own homes our training is award winning so you will definitely learn something to your own advantage. We will also encourage you to go further and take a professional qualification and will offer you whatever support you need to do this. We do insist that all of our CAREGivers have clear, consise spoken communication skills, this is because some clients may have dementia and some may be hard of hearing. We also insist that our CAREGivers are kindly, compassionate, caring people who take pride in providing a superior service. Additional Information As a CAREGiver, you will receive industry leading training, great rates of pay and excellent support from a caring team.
