Company Description Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support. We do require our CAREGivers to have transport to enable you to visit clients in locations that are poorly serviced by public transport. Job Description We are seeking new people to join our CAREGiving team. We are frequently asked " What is it like to be a CAREGiver"? and the answer I always give is "If you are looking for variety, responsibility and are game for a laugh plus have lots of common sense, then its the job for you". No two days are the same, be prepared for lots of laughter but you also have to be a responsible CAREGiver because you will have people who will rely on you. It is a very worthwhile role and you will be truly appreciated by the clients and their families you visit. We do insist that all our CAREGivers have their own transport to enable them to be able to take the clients on shopping trips or doctors appointments or sometimes to a social event. We also require that you work a mixture of shifts which run from 8.00am - 2.00pm and 4.00pm - 10.00pm with a willingness to work alternate week-ends, we are flexible on times so these are not set in stone but are for guidance.
