Company Description Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support. We do require our CAREGivers to have transport to enable you to visit clients in locations that are poorly serviced by public transport. Job Description We are seeking CAREGivers who are commited to a career in care and who can work flexibly covering a variety of shifts in a week including mornings 8.00am-2.00pm & 4.00pm-10.00pm as well as working a mixture of shifts on alternate week-ends. We are also keen to hear from people who want to solely work in the evenings and week-ends, if that is you, then please call us now. We are living in challenging times and our elderly are more vulnerable now than they have been for a long while, community spirit and very caring people are needed urgently to fulfil the needs of vulnerable people who use our services. The people we look after need help to get up and dressed in the morning and to get ready for bed in the evening, help with shopping and food preparation, light housework and personal care, as well as companionship particularly as they may have to remain at home for long periods of time in the current crisis. To become a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care Welwyn & Hatfield you must have your own transport to enable you to visit clients who may live in remote area's not well serviced by public transport. Qualifications Very good, clear, spoken communication skills are required as some clients may have dementia and hearing problems, as is reliability as the clients come to rely on their CAREGivers and like to see them regularly. We will train you in whatever else is needed to a very high certificated standard and you can if you wish go on to obtain prefessional qualifications that will enahnce your long term career and prospects.
