Job Description

Work Location: Epping, West Essex (with regular travel to other sites across West Essex area) A new opportunity has arisen for a Medicines Management Administrator to join our IUC Operations Team in West Essex. You will be assisting the IUC Support Manager in the day to day planning, organisation and delivery of the medicines management process and stock levels to ensure safety and security of all medicines and equipment are maintained. The successful candidate should have good computer skills, demonstrate they can work accurately, have excellent communication skills and be proactive. They need to be able to work as part of a team, work in an organised manner, and have a willingness to learn. The hours for this role are 15 hours per week and you will be required to work the occasional evenings and/or weekend shifts as per business needs. Who are we? HUC provides accessible and high quality Integrated Urgent Care services to nearly 3 million patients across a range of counties, including Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Bedfordshire and Essex. When patients are ill and need the right medical attention, HUC provides the NHS111 and Out of Hours GP service Key responsibilities * To be responsible for the supply and maintenance of medical equipment and drug stock levels at all HUC bases and conduct full stock checks on a regular basis * To deliver medication to HUC bases across West Essex * To identify opportunities for improvement and implement process to support cost savings and manage medication wastage * To deliver training to all staff groups (e.g. drivers/receptionists) on the medicine management process and update them on changes as they occur.
