Job Description
Are you a dynamic and motivated individual looking for a new and exciting challenge of working in the adult cancer services? Due to investment from the Oncology Department, an exciting opportunity has arisen at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust for you to join our well established cancer pharmacy team providing pharmaceutical services to patients undergoing treatment for cancer. We are looking for applicants who are eager to learn, able to organise and prioritise their own work to meet deadlines, and be able to work using their own initiative. You must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate that you are a team player. You should also have an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services, a proven ability to accurately dispense and label prescriptions and efficiently maintain pharmacy stock levels, and relevant, recent pharmacy experience. The postholder will be committed to providing a patient focused, efficient service, ensuring a positive image of the Pharmacy department is demonstrated at all times, and showing commitment to support the Trust's Values and Behaviours. You will be fully integrated into The Cancer Pharmacy Team, working at the City Hospital campus of NUH. You will focus on maintaining the ward and daycase areas' drug stock levels whilst minimising drug waste and supply of medicines to inpatients, always working accurately and safely.
