Company Description Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support. We do require our CAREGivers to have transport to enable you to visit clients in locations that are poorly serviced by public transport. Job Description We are looking for kind, reliable and caring CAREGivers who must be free to commit to working at least three evening shifts a week running from 4.00pm - 10.00pm and who will happily cover either a Saturday or Sunday (or both if your up for it) on alternate week-ends. We offer clients companionship, home help and look after their personal care (washing & dressing) and for some of your clients you will be getting them ready to retire for the evening. You must have clear and concise communication skills, to enable you and the clients to clearly understand each other as some clients may have dementia or hearing difficulties. We also require you to have your own transport to enable you to travel between clients who may live in Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Potters Bar, Brookmans Park and Borehamwood, we do pay a mileage allowance between clients homes. Qualifications We undertake to fully train you so the desire to care for people and being extremely reliable is far more important than academic achievements.
