Overview
Job Title: Void Supervisor Location: Skelmersdale Permanent Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 Start date: 1st April My client is one of the most successful family-owned private construction, development and property services companies in the UK. Their leading position within the maintenance sector has enabled the business to realise their ambitious strategic growth, offering clients a truly integrated national service for all their maintenance requirements. We are currently looking for a void supervisor for a new contract with West Lancs Borough Council to run void streams with direct and subcontract labour, scope voids using NHF codes, all electronic systems for surveying and running voids. The successful professional will supervise the voids workforce and liaise with client representative(s) to ensure high level maintenance and compliance service at all times. Key Accountabilities will include: - Lead, motivate and manage your team to gain optimum performance levels across your contract. - Ensure all works orders received are completed within target dates leading to delivery of contractual key performance indicators. - Supervise workforce and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with relevant specifications and that that pre and post repairs inspections are carried out. - Ensure that large multi-trade jobs are booked in effectively by the scheduling team minimising non-productive operative time. - Represent the company at client meetings and build strong working relationships with all those involved. - On-going monitoring of current team highlighting training and development needs along with inducting new staff with the view to them becoming an asset to the business. - To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to problem solve, multitask and work to tight deadlines.
