Team Manager (Void Properties) Location: Birkenhead Salary: £39,440 Per Annum Following a recent change programme a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager (Empty Homes) to join our busy Building Services Team. This is a full time permanent role working 37 hours per week, based in our modern head office in Birkenhead and Birkenhead based depot. The office /depot are easily accessible from most transport links with just a short walk from Hamilton Square train station and local bus routes. Free parking is provided to staff either on site or nearby. The Team Manger Role * You will lead a team of Building Maintenance construction related repairs Technicians in providing the effective delivery of Magenta Living void property repairs to meet business plan objectives. * To ensure all technicians within the team are managed effectively and have a clear focus on health and safety, service delivery and customer care, performance and quality. * To facilitate and manage all aspects of the service area to achieve KPI's to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service. * To work closely with all stakeholders to resolve any issues arising from service delivery and adopt a solution-based approach. * To effectively manage and control team budgets as directed by the Head of Service. Requirements for the Team Manager Role You will be someone with a positive and enthusiastic personality with a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail and positively contribute to the role and team you work in. The ability to plan, organise and prioritise work is essential and to be able to work with colleagues of all levels, both internal and external. Good verbal and written communication skills are a must and ideally you will be fully proficient in all Microsoft Office packages. Our own in-house Building Services team of over 150 technicians currently provides a wide range of repair, maintenance and refurbishment services to our tenants and external customers with a current annual turnover of £15 million.
