An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Educator for Haematology and Toghill Ward. The successful applicant will work across Haematology providing team support and facilitate staff development and education across the multi-disciplinary team. In this post you will work closely with the current clinical educator's, therefore the individual must be able to work as part of a team. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person with the appropriate experience and skills to work closely alongside staff members. You must be able to demonstrate the skills required to support further development of expanding services. You will need to demonstrate the ability to be able to work flexibly in diverse clinical environments maintaining clinical experience. The successful applicant will have high level self-management skills including time management, prioritisation and organisational, provide on-going and continued support to junior staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to build on the network required for the role. This will be an opportunity for self -development in leading change and team management. You will be expected to work in collaboration with speciality nursing teams and maintain a good working partnership. You must be committed to a high standard of patient care and safety. You will have a flexible attitude to work and be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team with a willingness to share and learn. All persons appointed to the post are required to hold registration with their appropriate professional Regulatory Body and to comply with their professional code of conduct.
