***PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY*** A vacancy has arisen in the Postgraduate Medical Education Clinical Skills & National Repository department for an Administrative Assistant to work 37.5 hours per week; hours are on a rotational basis between the centre's opening hours of 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday. The postholder will also be required to have a flexible approach to hours, as there may be a necessity to work evenings and weekends to cover events, for which time off in lieu or overtime will be paid. This role is to work with the Clinical Skills & National Repository Manager, the Senior Anatomist and the Clinical Lead; primarily based at the City campus though there is an expectation that work will be undertaken across both campuses. You will be an enthusiastic and conscientious team player. You will be able to work under pressure, have excellent written and verbal skills, excellent planning, time-management and organisational skills, as well as being an innovative thinker and always willing to put forward ideas knowing that you are part of a forward-thinking team. You will be able to prioritise your workload throughout the day. You must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues. The successful applicant will have obtained 5 GCSEs grade C or above including English Language; RSA 11 (or equivalent typing qualification; NVQ level 3 in Administration or equivalent experience. You will be competent in the use of Microsoft office packages and have good minute taking skills. You will have at least two years recent secretarial experience in the NHS with knowledge of medical terminology.
