Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 0.6 WTE permanent position as a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist with an interest in working in staff wellbeing. The role will based with the Staff Wellbeing Service at NUH to help support the work of staff wellbeing mental health practitioners and develop new training programmes, resources and support mechanisms/systems for line managers to better support staff with mental health concerns. The postholder will not have line management responsibility but may be required to provide clinical support/supervision for a range of other staff as part of the role. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist with an interest in Clinical Health Psychology and how this can be used to develop trust wide initiatives to support the psychological wellbeing of our staff. The postholder managed by the Staff Wellbeing Lead with clinical supervision provided by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. The Staff Wellbeing team is a small, friendly and busy team with a passion for supporting our staff to look after their wellbeing in a variety of ways. We provide a high quality staff workplace wellness programme across the Trust. We're looking for an individual with good communication skills who can work closely with the different members of our team and wider staff wellbeing partnership, who is resilient, able to work autonomously and flexibly as a valued member of the team as well as having a strong commitment to staff wellbeing. It is essential that the post-holder will have a doctorate level clinical psychology professional qualification and be HCPC registered The post holder will be employed by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. Our office base is at QMC although the postholder will be required to travel and deliver initiatives across all 3 main campuses. Applicants must have the personal qualities and resilience to be able to work in a busy acute trust setting.
