Overview
Job Description
This is an ideal role for someone who has experience working with partners selling IT solutions to the the Small Medium Business (SMB) sector. In this role, you will help develop the technical capabilities of our SMB partner community so they can build successful businesses by offering cloud-based solutions. Working with these partners is a team effort that will require cooperation and coordination with many stakeholders. You will help design platforms and reference architectures to deliver cloud-based IT solutions to the SMB market across EMEA. In this technical role, you will architect Amazon Web Services solutions, own the technical relationship and deliverables for a partner, develop and execute workshops, lead white boarding sessions, author white-papers and blog posts, and respond to technical inquiries. As a Solution Architect focused on our partners within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the opportunity to help shape and take initiative to produce results on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of the AWS platform across our partner community. Roles & Responsibilities: Technical leader and trusted adviser in the area of cloud computing for the EMEA partner SMB community. Assist the partner community in building self-service platforms offering both AWS and partner cloud solutions to the SMB market. Advise the partners on appropriate IT managed service solutions to serve the SMB market for cloud-based offerings. Demonstrate a bias for action and deep technical skills by authoring joint technical whitepapers, technical case studies, or blog posts with our partners. Advise partners on appropriate AWS and partner solutions to reach joint SMB customers at scale using customer facing service such as Amazon Connect, AWS Marketplace, AWS Service Catalogue, Amazon Pinpoint, Amazon Personalize etc.
