SMB Account Executive Position Summary SMB Account Executives work with prospective customers to address their embedded real-time communications needs. Our SMB Account Executive serve as the front-line in our customer engagement efforts, responding to product and sales inquiries as well as trial accounts who have installed our products. The SMB Account Executive will qualify leads and ultimately drive opportunities to the sales team. Responsibilities + Respond to inbound leads generated by various lead generation programs. + Qualify and appropriately distribute qualified sales lead to the appropriate team for engagement. + Develop targeted outbound campaigns; + Target prospective key account engagements; + Make outbound calls to generate leads. + Nurture and manage SMB/Long-tail leads within assigned region. + Continuously maintain and update sales pipeline reporting tools. + Evangelize Agora product offerings across territories or named accounts. + Conduct on-going research to identify new leads, vertical market opportunities. + Achieve quarterly qualified sales leads and lead generation goals. Required Skills, Experience and Competencies + Hunter mindset, minimum 2 years? experience in SDR/BD position only, ideally in a business development/telemarketing agency. + Experience with API/SDK/Mobile APP/Monetization technologies, ideally in telco Video/Voice/Chat or SMS with MRR/ARR revenue models + Account management experience, growing existing account, retention and churn prevention. + Experience within our core verticals: Gaming, E-learning, Social and Live streaming. + Very comfortable on the phone and able to handle high volume email traffic; ready to engage customers all day, every day. + Attention to detail, highly organized. + Creative thinker; comfortable with ambiguity. + Excellent communication skills. + CRM systems experience. + Knowledgeable with MS Office. + Sales experience, selling to Mid-market/Long tail mainly to key accounts, experience working closely with internal teams: solution architects, developers, marketing.
