Overview This role is based within the SMB Account Management sales team at Mimecast, which focuses on customers with 1-99 employees. We are looking for an exceptional person with strong communication, negotiation and a track record in prospecting, managing and closing business. We have an amazing team and are looking for someone who will be a strong addition - who is collaborative, driven and eager to be successful. This team is a market leading team who help clients choose Mimecast and work in conjunction with channel partners to deliver upon a personal sales targets, whilst being appreciative of the wider interests of the Partner and Mimecast. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities * Applying best practice to self-generate or work with Partners to build pipeline from a pre-defined list of customers * Comfortable with qualifying, presenting and closing product and seat upsell opportunities to customers * Achievement of monthly / quarterly / annual new business targets * Develop and execute against a sales Victory plan to achieve agreed targets * Analyse customer whitespace and build campaigns to target customers to generate interest in Mimecast technologies not already being utilised * Responsible for generating quotes for Partners and process orders * Organise technical demonstrations for Partners' customers with Mimecast's technical pre-sales team * Build and maintain relationships with Mimecast customers * Passionate about working with and Mimecast Partners * Business Administration -manage the reporting of the KPIs and general CRM housekeeping * Learn and execute against Mimecast's proven end to end sales methodology and processes * Welcomes working in a challenging environment that is high performance in ethos Qualifications Experience Required * 2 years' phone or face to face selling * Meticulously organised and able to manage a large pipeline of opportunities at any one time * Experience or desire to work in an indirect sales model * Willing to travel across key Partners to find customer upsell opportunities * Proven sustained success and over achievement against targets * Solid skills in qualification and negotiation * Ability to analyse customer requirements * Attention to detail in reporting to line manager * Good administration skills - Outlook/Excel/CRM Desirable Skills * Experience in email technologies, cloud-based or security/storage vendors * Have worked for an IT reseller or Vendor in a similar function The Perks * Quarterly and annual incentives * Great team atmosphere full of collaboration * Good career progression * Mimecast Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESSP) * Internal Events- quarterly team builds, monthly drinks, family day, end of financial year events * An Employee development program with a comprehensive individual induction plan * Fully stocked 'healthy' fridge as well as the mandatory 'drinks' fridge * A young and dynamic culture within a fast-paced progressive Technology Company that is really going somewhere Reward We offer a highly competitive rewards and benefits package including private healthcare, pension, life cover, child care vouchers and an annual gym subsidization.
