Job Description

As an Account Executive on our SMB team you will be responsible for seeking out new customers and communicating how Box can help meet their content management and collaboration needs focusing on the UK. You will have experience prospecting, running discovery calls/demos, negotiating, and a track record of closing new business. You should also understand use cases and how to sell across multiple departments and industries. YOU WILL * Call and email executives at all levels to facilitate deal closure * Set up and effectively run face-to-face meetings with clients * Manage the full sales-cycle, including contract generation and other deliverables for closing * Strategically prospect into net new greenfield accounts * Build relationships with a variety of existing accounts * Meet monthly sales goals * Sell technology into IT and quantifiable business outcomes into Lines of Business * Facilitate high quality discovery to identify customer pain points * Leverage challenger selling techniques to teach, tailor, and take control of sales motions * Be the CEO of your territory, prioritizing accounts in a highly strategic fashion * Understand an account's needs and effectively communicate how Box will meet those needs * Rapidly learn online Collaboration and Content Management, Enterprise 2.0 and the Box model * Use Salesforce.com for lead management and sales forecasting * Prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources * Accurately forecast pipeline month over month * Ensure 100% satisfaction with all customers WHAT YOU NEED * Grit and energy to get deals over the line * Business acumen to tie Box's product to specific business outcomes * Extreme curiosity to learn about the product, the industry, and your customer's businesses * Obvious passion and people skills * Consistent over-achievement in past experiences * Technically adept; experienced with web technologies * Passion for cloud technologies Here is the fine print.. * 20% year-on-year growth * 96% approval rating of our CEO Aaron Levie and 4.5 culture rating (via Glassdoor) * working with a diverse and fun bunch of colleagues (well across Europe we have 31 nationalities including Andorra) * Active social calendar and communities, including Box Women's Network and PRIDE. * Flat organization: easy access to talented Directors, VPs and above * Culture of learning - Ask about LearnFest or the various workshops we regularly host from unconscious bias, situational leadership and radical candor. * Box.org: Provides nonprofits with the technology resources they need to innovate and fulfill their mission.
