Apprenticeship Placement Qualification : Facilities Operative Level 2 Location : Client placement Salary : c.140 p/w Hours : 35 hours p/w About LMP Group LMP Group focuses on education, training and social impact; working together to bring about positive, sustainable change. LMP Education, is a division of LMP Group and provides apprenticeship training . Job Purpose The role of a Facilities Operative Apprentice is to support the smooth running of the facilities site/sites. This will include supporting the facilities team and manager in ensuring that the facility is safe, auditing the site and support in the scheduling of site work plus providing support for various members of staff. Responsibilities: It is not exhaustive, and it is not intended that every Apprentice will undertake the full range of tasks: * Support the delivery of the responsibilities of the Facilities Services function in complying with health and safety and other legislation and organizational policies and procedures * Address FS-related Risks, hazards and threats to people, property, and premises * Provide customer service to internal and external customers to ensure the effective delivery of a range of facilities services * Support the delivery of FS projects * Maintain soft FS services * Complete the above duties in compliance with the organisation/school's policies and procedures All Apprentices are required to attend learning sessions by LMP Education; this is essential in order to work towards the end qualification. Failure to adhere to this may result in a loss of placement or removal from our recruiting database Desired Skills * Essential : Grade A*-C (or new equivalent) in English and Maths * Attention to detail, follow basic instructions well * Hand on skills able to use tools * Knows basic hazards to look out for and how to minimise risks * Works well within a team environment, you will work alongside other members of staff, so this is very important * Strong work ethic, punctual manner * Can use own initiative to resolve issues when management is unable to assist * Confident attitude towards all daily responsibilities * Cautious and vigilant Work Environment Your work environment for the nature of this role will be based on site at a client office location, this can vary depending upon our client's needs and geographical location.Your role will usually be based at a head office or regional site with certain assessment days and training periods being held off site.Our clients are professional, ambitious and focus on employee growth & development.
