Job Description
Are you looking for a new challenge? An exciting and new key position of Senior Tenancy and Estate Management Officer has been created at our Severnside Housing division in Shrewsbury to deliver an effective, efficient and sensitive community safety service and to manage issues arising from tenancy management, estate management, grounds maintenance and fire risk assessments/block inspections. Such issues will include fly-tipping, dog fouling, abandoned cars, graffiti and more. It will also include responsibilities in managing a patch as a Neighbourhood Officer. This is a new and exciting post which will see the post holder become a key member of the Neighbourhood Team. Job requirements: * The post holder will have line management responsibility for the Neighbourhood Warden who completes periodic block inspections and regularly monitors our estates and need to be proficient in providing advice and support to that post holder and the wider team * Manage a patch of tenancies and provide support and advice to the team on all tenancy management matters from mutual exchanges to successions * Work in collaboration with the Senior ASB Officer to support the team and report to the Housing Services Team Leader. What we're looking for: Experience in and a good understanding of housing legislation and best practice regarding estate management, grounds maintenance, fire risk assessments/block inspections, tenancy management and anti-social behaviour issues.
