Overview
A private consultancy are looking for an experience Senior Town Planner to join their growing team in the Shrewsbury area. This consultancy offers a range of services such as town planning, surveying and valuing within land, residential, commercial and rural sectors. This consultancy has built up a strong client portfolio and delivers a highly revered service covering the regional area. As Senior Town Planner you will be offering specialist planning advice and consultation on projects communicating and working with the wider team. You will be responsible for generating new business and managing client relationships managing your own time and workload. You will be working on all aspects of projects from the beginning including planning applications through to completion. The role of Senior Town Planner offers the successful candidate the opportunity to step to their first Senior level position as well as future progression within the role as well as within the company. You will be working within a small but dedicated and social team with the opportunities for performance based bonuses and to get more involved in the business in the future. Senior Town Planner Position Overview Working on all aspect of projects across the region Attending client meetings and site visits Generating new business and building on the Town Planning side of the business Managing your own workload and timescales Communicating within the wider team and directly with clients Senior Town Planner Position Requirements Degree qualified within Town Planning or similar subject Working towards RTPI Chartership or achieved MRTPI status Minimum 2 years' experience within the industry Experience generating business and managing clients Full driver's license and own transport Previous experience within Land Management or acquisition beneficial but not essential Senior Town Planner Position Remuneration Salary dependant on experience level Performance related bonus scheme 21 days plus bank holidays Future progression opportunities Pension scheme We, Bennett and Game Recruitment, a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
