The Challenge Adobe's Executive Communications function builds and leads the external and internal communications for the President of International (Europe, Asia-Pacific and Japan). Adobe is seeking a senior and seasoned communications professional who is comfortable with the entire communication process from platform and strategy development through to execution and executive counsel. This individual will also play a role in crafting and implementing the overarching communications strategy for the President of the International region. This highly visible role requires working directly with the President on building a communications strategy to convey his overall leadership principles, the go-to-market strategy for the region, ongoing employee and field communications and support for internal and external meetings with customers and partners. Reporting to the Director of Communications, EMEA, the individual will work hand in hand with the broader communications team on thought leadership initiatives, executive visibility, press opportunities and preparation for external opportunities. What you'll do * Build the President's executive voice and brand as an inspiring leader in customer experience management. * Develop a robust communications plan, building on International's priorities, and ensure the plan delivers the desired outcome that meets the goals for company and brand visibility. * Refine and evolve executive content platform and supporting deliverables, including story arcs, presentation content and talking points for internal and external events. * Drive internal vehicles for visibility and coordinating the agenda for regional all-hands meetings, in partnership with Employee Experience and the Employee Communications manager. * Partner with the Employee Experience team and Adobe's world-wide field communications team to develop internal and change management communications plans. * Collaborate with the broader communications team to build and handle the President's external thought leadership presence across owned, earned and paid channels, including devising his social media content strategy. * Build a positive relationship with the President's International Leadership Team to deliver results and ensure alignment of messages across businesses and subject areas. * Drive and lead all aspects of production of final deliverables to ensure consistency, creativity and quality consistent with Adobe's brand. * Conduct analysis of measurement/results of implementing the communications plans and deliverables. Make recommendations and modifications accordingly, and review results quarterly with executives. * This role involves international travel where you will be front and centre with the President co-ordinating speak appearances at Adobe conferences and external thought leadership events. What you need to succeed * BA/BS in communications, public relations, marketing or related field. Advanced degree preferred. * 10+ years in public relations, executive communications, employee communications or related field. Previous roles in executive communications and corporate communications experience is critical. * Demonstrated ability to partner with executives and produce effective communications deliverables that meet or exceed goals within tight deadlines. * A solid track record in developing thought leadership messaging platforms and implementing communications initiatives that require executive and corporate visibility. * Ability to develop compelling narratives for highly visible internal and external speaking engagements. * Excellent writing, editing and presentation development skills. Strength in both verbal and visual thinking highly desirable. * Ability to run programmes from concept to completion while seamlessly working with internal and agency teams. * Ability to collaborate with worldwide colleagues across organisational and cultural boundaries in support of communications goals to ensure implementation of global messages and programmes.
