As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building relationships, identifying new leads, and delivering new business. In this role, you will work closely with the Advisory and Account Management functions to identify and open new budgets within existing client organisations and to develop customer value offerings, which reflect client needs and demonstrate return on investment. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Meet and exceed regional sales target through direct client contacts and relationships + Demonstrate consistent and disciplined activity to maximize new business development and to ensure perpetual pipeline growth; maintain accurate sales pipeline - regularly reporting sales activity to CEO, Optum UK + Generate new business proposals + Present and pitch to new clients using support from operational staff or senior leadership team where required + Understand and follow competition offerings, pricing, and positioning using this intelligence to develop sales plan + Understand Optum UK's full product range and service offerings including costs and service delivery + Ensure products and services sold are able to be met operationally; work with Operations and Product teams to ensure this is achieved + Use Optum UK's pricing model to price products and services & negotiate prices for clients within appropriate pricing framework + Display exceptional strategic selling skills including prospecting, discovery/qualification, solution design, proposal development, value quantification, capabilities demonstration, negotiation, and closing + Ensure accurate and timely entry of sales opportunity information using our sales force automation tools + Lead and manage the RFP process working alongside a tender writer to ensure tailored, compelling proposals are submitted with subsequent shortlisting **Required Qualifications:** + Proven track record of B2B Sales + Experience selling to the NHS strongly preferred + Proven contacts in target markets and organisations + Experience selling to target market customers/clients in the UK + Experience generating leads and following up with prospect meetings + Experience writing proposals and delivering presentations + Consultative sales providing long term revenue streams + Understanding of Operations and Service Delivery + Entrepreneurial drive, track record of initiative, personal responsibility, and ownership of work to meet monthly, quarterly and annual financial goals in a high growth organization + The ability to analyze complex sales situations and develop creative solutions to a wide variety of unique customer challenges. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Intellectual capacity and enthusiasm to master the technical sales aspect of services offered to a customer. + Advanced consultative selling skills with the ability to successfully construct solutions for multifaceted organizations. + Excellent presentation, writing, and negotiation skills, able to create and deliver convincing arguments covering a broad range of complex issues + Ability to quickly build credibility and gain the respect and confidence of peers, consultants, and customer contacts. + Sound administrative and project management capabilities; ability to manage the entire sales processes and forecast with precision + Superior time management skills and strong attention to detail + Maturity, poise and ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and in changing environments + Creative approach to problem solving **_Please note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
