Job Description

IT Telecoms Lead, working at UHS Foundation Trust. Working with a great team providing leadership including development of the current IP Telephony systems and staff. We provide 24 hour telephony services across the UHS Trust including Princess Anne Hospital and other sites. Working closely with the IT teams and users of the service. Providing a point of access for any enquiries relating to telephony and systems that fall within the Switchboard responsibilities used within the organisation. 6000+ telephone extensions split across Hipath and OSV, please refer to the Job description and person specification for further details. Provide point of contact regarding IT Telephony issues, problem solving, acting as a role model representing the team. Responsible for the line management of telephone engineers and assisting in the development of the IT telecoms systems. Acting as a point of contact internally to the organisation and to external suppliers. Deputise for the Telecoms Manager in their absence Extensive knowledge of telephony programming and the implications working within these guidelines.Experience of Disaster recovery and managing change. Leadership, calm under pressure and the ability to multitask.
