Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity for an Employee Relations Manager within our Technical & Production and Supply Chain HR Team. As part of the Ensuring Supply HR Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the development and execution of the UK&I Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER) plans working in partnership with the ER Centre of Competence. Reporting into the Head of HR for Ensuring Supply (Technical, Production and Supply Chain) you will work in partnership with the Head of Employee Engagement and the Centre of Competence team, as well as working collaboratively with the Manufacturing HR Business Partners in the Factory teams. Aiming towards developing robust relationships with the Trade Union representatives to achieve a collaborative and forward thinking Trade Union relationship. Another key accountability of the role will be to act as the HR Business Partner for Functional Heads within the Technical and Production Leadership Team (with a customer base of c 80 people). A day in the life of an ER Case Manager Working very closely with the HRBP populations across the factories you will act as the single point of contact for IR/ER case advice and escalation of complex or senior cases only. Developing and implementing a robust case management process. Ensure maintenance of precedents, manage case escalations, ,and track progress of cases weekly reporting progress to then drive insight that will support the ER CoC with the required data and inputs to enable them to lead National level negotiations and initiatives. In addition to this you will be involved in supporting the operations projects and actions from the Trade Union National Forum in partnership with the ER CoC. Supporting the development of and then further driving the policy implementation across the factories as part of Policy Review Committee. You'll also: * Contribute to the development of the IR and ER plans for the Market (UK&I) including definition of key outcomes and measures by working in partnership with UK&I's ER Centre of Competence (ER CoC) * Support the definition of Operations projects and actions from the Trade Union National Forum in partnership with the ER CoC. * Execute a Market level ER/IR capability build plan focussing on (but not limited to) Line Management and the HRBP Population across the Technical, Production and Supply Chain areas * To implement market wide total reward initiatives (including annual and one-off awards from National agreements * To act as the HR Business Partner for the Technical and Production teams; implementing the broad HR plans including Reward, Talent, Resourcing, Communications and Engagement and Employee Relations * Work to drive down absence levels across locations providing specialist advice and guidance to ensure absence procedures are effectively managed in accordance with policies and agreements What will make you successful As the successful candidate, you will already have a breadth of ER experience ideally across a manufacturing industry and have proven experience of working in an Industrial and employee/labour relations environment, including working with trade unions on change programmes. You will have the ability to operate as part of aleadership team as a strategic HR partner and contribute to the wider business agenda. You will thrive when working with stakeholders across all levels coupled with your ability to truly understand our business from a commercial standpoint. You will love working in an ambiguous environment and being able to navigate both yourself, wider team and stakeholders to positive solutions. And you will also be able to demonstrate previous experience of: * Developing and coaching people to deliver a high performing team environment that enables people to be the best that they can be. * Leading change and business transition in organisations * Working within a Matrix environment; achieving results through effective influencing and collaboration. * A wide range of business experiences across different environments, businesses, factories and industrial relations. * Excellent employment law knowledge and interpretation * Successful experience in contributing to the creation, implementation & execution of people strategies for a business, function or unit. * Sound general knowledge of national level industrial relations priorities of UK based trade unions, and excellent employment law knowledge and understanding * Exposure to CoE/CoS processes, e.g. Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, an
