Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available within the Acute Assessment Unit (AAU), Glasgow Royal Infirmary, for a Nurse Practitioner ( Band 7 ) This post will initially be fixed term for 9 months. It is essential you have a First Level NMC Registration and hold a first degree or evidence of continuing professional development equivalent to level 9 of Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) as a minimum and with a Nurse Practitioner qualification. Working within the Emergency Complex you will manage the assessment, investigation and treatment of a wide variety of medical cases and provide complete clinical care for patients utilising expert knowledge base and clinical competence. You will be key to influencing the future service delivery and advanced practice strategy in collaboration with the ANP cohort and Lead Nurse. You have substantial post registration experience in Acute Medicine. The shift pattern will be 11.5hours, 7 day rotation. This will predominantly be day shift.
