***PREVIOUS NHS EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL*** PART TIME SENIOR CARDIAC RADIOGRAPHER (19 HOURS PER WEEK + ON CALL) (Tuesday 09:00-17:00, Wednesday 13:00-17:00, Friday 09:00-17:00) Cardiac Catheter Labs. Would you like the opportunity to work as part of a specialist team in the Cardiac Catheter Labs at one of the South coast's pioneering, innovative, tertiary Cardiac Centres? We are currently implementing a rolling room replacement program and are upgrading 3 of our Cardiac Cath Labs to incorporate the newest state of the art radiographic equipment. Our 4 Cardiac Catheter Labs carry out 4500 examinations a year comprising of a wide range of angiographic, interventional, pacing, electrophysiology and structural heart procedures. Some of our more specialised procedures include trans-catheter aortic valve implantations, laser cases, epicardial and cryo ablation amongst many others. You will require a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) and HCPC registration. Previous experience within a Cardiac Catheter Lab environment is essential. You must be a highly motivated, enthusiastic, dynamic Radiographer. You must have the confidence to work flexibly as an individual using your own initiative and making your own decisions, while also using your interpersonal skills to form a working relationship with the multidisciplinary team in a fast moving, changing environment to deliver excellent patient care and high quality radiographic images. You will also have opportunities for continued development professionally (CPD), we believe in investment in our staff through in house and external courses.
