Job Description
We are excited to advertise one of our key senior management roles within CAMHS as the current post holder will be retiring this year. You will be joining a supportive and dynamic leadership team, which includes a large range of Specialist, Inpatient and Community CAMHS Services. The post holder will manage a range of Specialist teams which include Substance Misuse, Riverside Adolescent Unit (CAMHS Tier 4 inpatient), Learning Disability, Looked After Children and CAMHS Youth Offending staff, some of which are national exemplars, shaping and informing national delivery in these fields. We work closely with our partners in child health, social care and the voluntary sector and participation is enhanced by Barnardos. AWP is one of the largest Mental Health Trusts in the country. We are proud of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health services comprising locality and specialist CAMHS as well as an inpatient unit. We are looking for a compassionate leader to join the management team to take forward the CAMHS transformation agenda. You will be well supported and responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of the CAMHS Specialist teams and Riverside Unit. We are committed to the CYP-IAPT programme and place children and young people at the heart of everything we do. We are embedding the iThrive model of care and are well supported by our commissioners to achieve future developments. You will have a close working relationship with the CCG and Local Authority commissioners. Applicants will be required to demonstrate a track record of delivering and leading on a range of projects and clinical service improvement.
