Are you a dynamic midwife looking for a great place to work? If so Southmead Maternity Unit would like to hear from you! We are looking to recruit an Supervisory Ward Sister to join our established and dynamic team to work on our Quantock Ward, AAU and the Induction of Labour suite which is part of the Women and children's division at North Bristol Trust At North Bristol we undertake approximately 6000 births per year within 3 settings: Stand-alone midwifery-led unit at Cossham, our midwifery-led unit and the Delivery Suite based at Southmead. We are a very caring, expert team of midwives who work with very friendly and specialist obstetricians, providing safe care to our mothers and babies. Quantock ward is a 13 bed unit including 9 antenatal assessment beds that is run 24/7 and a new 5 bed induction of labour suite. Southmead Maternity is situated within Southmead Hospital which is on the outskirts of Bristol, a lively, bustling city in the South West of England. Bristol is consistently voted the best place to live in the UK, with vibrant local music, arts and gastronomic scenes, a wide range of modern and state of the art shopping, recreation and leisure facilities, a wealth of great local family days out, fantastic transport links for local, national and internal holidays, and a rich history.
