Prosecution Team Leader- Athena House, York Mon/Thurs 08:30-17:00 & Friday 08:30-16:30 North Yorkshire Police are proud to announce that we are recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to be responsible for the supervision, motivation and work allocation of staff within the Prosecution Team based at York. This is a very challenging but rewarding opportunity for a strong leader who can give direction as the first line supervisor to deliver a quality customer focused service. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Delegating and distributing workloads with the team * Undertake individual staff performance and appraisal within the team * Contribute to and deliver excellent departmental performance which contributes to an effective Criminal Justice System within North Yorkshire. * Undertake management of absence from work due to sickness, welfare or personal influences * Oversee and review a range of administrative and clerical duties within the team such as file preparation, magistrates court process, disclosure requests etc. * You will represent North Yorkshire Police at partnership meetings, and also provide support to Police Prosecutors, the Crown Prosecution Service and Her Majesty's Court and Tribunal Service in respect of Court cases and subsequent enquiries.
