Support Team provides second line technical support for Windows and Apple client platforms for all News Corp executives, this includes mobile devices as deployed by the business units. Responding to more complex problems by proactively investigating ultimate causes and applying workarounds and permanent resolutions. Your role: as an Executive Support Analyst you will be reporting into the Desktop Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing the customer interface and delivering a delightful customer experience to News Corp executive staff, in supporting their client computing services. Collaborating with other technical teams to ensure our customers achieve the best technical support and solutions whilst going the extra mile to ensure SLA's & OLA's are achieved. *This role will require you to work some unsociable hours on occasions and potential travel will be involved. Day to day you will: + Work closely with the Technology Service desk to provide second line technical support. + Investigate causes and take responsibility for providing analysis of recurring or persistent problems. + Create documentation around incident resolution, fixes and updating the technical knowledge base. + Liaise and communicate effectively working with both onshore and offshore teams. + Work to SLA's and OLA's whilst managing expectations of customers. What we're looking for from you: + You have experience in supporting senior/executive staff members. + A solid knowledge of Apple and Microsoft systems. + You will be ITIL V4 Foundation certified or relevant experience. + Passionate about new technology and keeping abreast of the latest industry trends and products.
