Job Description

Can you lead and take responsibility for the Facilities of a portfolio of buildings, the day to day management of outsourced contracts and all aspects of facilities management? We are looking to recruit a Facilities Coordinator to join our team. You will develop relationships and build strong communication links within the business. You will manage all issues, ensuring appropriate adherence to legislation, code of practice, directives and regulations. Your Role: * Your objective is to ensure the preservation of key building components is carried out effectively; prolonging the life cycle of the building and to reduce future risk and cost. * You're the skilled expert and will act as the main point of contact for all FM and associated H&S matters and raise as appropriate. * You will improve service delivery, enhance customer perception and monitor SLA's and critical metrics for each of your outsourced contracts. You'll balance issues with suppliers at a local level and ensure tasks run efficiently. * Your accuracy is important when maintaining site plans, records and log books. Also diligence is required when you inspect sites within your area to detect any issues. * Respond to all queries received through the helpdesk and issue work orders as appropriate, logging performance against pre-determined response levels. * Carry out general administrative duties such as purchasing, processing invoices and managing telephone and email communications * Build and maintain records of purchase orders issued, match invoices to approve for payment. Develop relationships with all suppliers, service providers and all staff supported, especially encouraging key points of contact * In the event of an emergency, you are contactable outside normal hours and possible travel to site. Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications: * You will have proven facilities Management experience. A Health & Safety qualification (e.g. Nebosh or IOSH) would be really useful, along with BIFM accreditation. * Fire warden & First Aid training would be a huge advantage! * Do you have experience of full lifecycle of office transitions and site relocations? * Diligent and process driven to achieve deadlines, risk aware in customer handling and dedicated in customer-care. Good communication and interpersonal skills coupled with excellent planning and analytical skills. * MS office proficient and eligible to work in the UK.
