Job Description

We are currently representing a lovely mid-sized London based property company. Due to recent acquisitions of new commercial and residential properties and a restructure of how its portfolio is managed, our client is taking its property management back in-house. As a result, it is looking for 2 Facilities Managers. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of 50 properties, made up of single let and small multi-let properties, across London. The Facilities Manager will manage any on-site building manager, staff and service provider involved in the delivery of the facilities management. In addition, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing the service charge budgets (circa £20-100k), attending all client, tenant and contractor meetings and monitoring the on-going performance of any contractors. Our client is a nice family company where the owner who set it up in the 60's is still in the office daily. Its tenants are predominantly small companies so the selected Facilities Manager will be dealing with multiple business owners on a regular basis, strong communication skills are essential. The successful Facilities Manager must have a proven track record in a similar role, managing multiple properties, be a team player and happy to get stuck in in order to getting the job done! It's important they have a good understanding of good customer service and have a positive attitude. Our client is offering £45,000 plus company benefits and a structured career path.
