Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity for a Logistics & Site Leader to take full operational responsibility for the operation of the Helsby warehouse (logistics and manufacturing) in the UK and supporting the 3PL (3rd party logistics) warehouse in Gatwick from a functional Logistics perspective. This role covers numerous GBE's (Electrical Products, Security, Advanced Detection & BMS). The role will be based at our Helsby site. What you will be doing? * You will oversee and promote effective Health, Safety and Environmental programs and practices, ensuring that high standards of site safety are established, met, and that facilities and grounds are maintained in accordance with relevant regulations, agency standards and fiscal consideration. Develop and execute the Annual Operating Plan for the sites. Direct responsibility for site expenditure. * You will improve and develop organizational capabilities through effective succession planning, employee development, performance management and planning/utilization of staff and capital resources. * Drive culture change, accountability and continuous improvement mindset throughout the site. Coach & Mentor the leadership team and be a role model and holder of ISC communications to the site. * Lead the HOS / Lean maturity programme on the site, and drive the site through lean transformation milestones. * Develop and maintain an effective Site Leadership Team. * Lead warehouse capacity planning & storage capacity modelling to ensure fully optimised operational processes are in place. * Champion programs to improve employee happiness and communications to support operational and strategic goals. * Develop & deploy local strategy deployment aligned to business and functional plans. * Drive and deliver agreed productivity in line with AOP.
