About the role Based in the Northamptonshire/Cambridgeshire area, the HR Manager/HR Business Partner will oversee all human resources activities across the LAND UK business and will travel throughout the UK to support internal customers. This includes; employee development, employee relations, workforce planning, compensation and partnering with the LAND UK leadership team to ensure that HR priorities are aligned to the business' short and long-term strategy. Working closely with business managers, the HR Manager/ HR Business Partner will act as the first point of contact for HR, ensuring that strategies are implemented to optimise talent retention, talent development and employee relations across this this multi-location environment. This position will involve partnering with employees at all levels. The jobholder will also be responsible for ensuring efficient, seamless and value-add HR processes and procedures that are fit for purpose and best in class for the LAND UK business. The Individual HR business partnering experience gained supporting a multi site UK wide business with an operations focus and manual workforce is essential. A CIPD qualification is required and strong HR generalist experience with specific experience of employee relations and talent management. Highly customer focused approach and strong stakeholder management skills gained at all levels of the organisation are essential. Experience of supporting industrial or logistics populations and a strong understanding of the considerations in supporting a remotely based workforce are essential. Strong employee relations work experience, analytical ability and experience of supporting change management programmes is also essential.
