Role Purpose You will be the leader of the New Business Sales Team which is our engine for growth across the UK and USA. Duties / Responsibilities The primary role objective is to increase Clearvision New Business Sales across key strategic offerings and to maintain and improve Clearvision’s Atlassian License Renewal rates. You will lead a team of New Business Sales Executives and License Renewal Specialists whose sales are predominantly Atlassian Software focused, along with Clearvision’s own services and solutions. Duties will include:- Hands on day-to-day management of a growing team of 10 based in Southampton & remote-based USA staff. Executing the sales plan to achieve margin targets and reporting regular performance metrics. Providing leadership, coaching and development to team members. Striving to achieve consistent team sales performance using well-structured sales methodology and effective pipeline management. Contributing to the strategy for ongoing sales growth and team organisation. Delivering accurate monthly forecasting and chairing and participating in all sales team management meetings. Measurable Role Deliverables This role is responsible for the following deliverables:- New Business “Proposal to Order rate” (Min target 50%) “SQL to Opportunity” conversion rate (Min target 75%) Sales Team individual target per Quarter (Min target 90%) Sales Team ‘product line’ target per Quarter (Min target 85%) License Team ‘renewal’ rate remains above our standard (Target 85% for license profit based on revenue & number of clients renewing) Weekly deal reviews with all team members (to ensure 1) Pipeline metrics are within range and 2) run rate against target on track () Average profit across all closed won deals to remain at x% margin (Per product line) Monthly one to one’s with all team members (documented inline with HR requirements) Quarterly PDP’s (documented inline with HR requirements) Monthly forecasting/reporting across sales team members & products line (10% variance of accuracy) Applicant Essentials Your application will not be considered unless you can prove the following:- Experience managing and leading a sales team in a high growth area, including holding monthly 1-1 meetings and Personal Development Plans/performance reviews. A demonstrable and successful record selling IT software and complex professional services engagements, eg. managed services (Cloud) and support. Knowledge of managing 1-4 month sales-cycles, with a methodical approach to sales. Demonstrable leadership skills, able to inspire and develop individuals. CRM (Salesforce)-savvy. Experience in the Atlassian suite would be highly desirable. Person Specification Passionate about coaching and developing individuals. Enjoy working under pressure. Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment. Knows how to “get stuff done” - a problem solver. An outgoing and assertive personality would fit in well with our current team.
