A fantastic opportunity for an Employment lawyer, preferably with at least 4PQE, to join our client's highly regarded boutique City Employment team, which punches well above its weight in numbers and acts for a range of clients across the TMT, financial services and other sectors. This role will involve dealing with a well-balanced mix of contentious (both tribunal and High Court) and non-contentious (both advisory and support) employment work, predominately acting for employers/respondents, as well as being actively involved in business development and marketing the practice. The ideal candidate for this position will be currently practising as an Employment lawyer within a large City or major national Employment practice, who is looking to move to a smaller firm for a greater level of independence. Employer/respondent experience is required. Financial services sector experience would be a bonus. In addition to technical ability and an excellent academic background, the employment lawyer who takes this position will have strong people skills and a real enthusiasm for employment law and helping to further promote the practice. There are good prospects for the right person in this dynamic, friendly and collaborative team.
