Job summary The Red Hat Global Employment team is looking for a Senior HR Employment and Compliance Specialist to join us in Dubai, UAE or London, U.K. In this role, you will contribute to the development of employment program philosophies and approaches. Your success will be measured by delivering great associate experience through outstanding service and by adding value to our global employment program by analyzing criteria, making decisions, and advising key Red Hat stakeholders. Primary job responsibilities + Conduct research to understand HR compliance requirements for compensation, benefits, and employment programs + Consult on legal requirements and impact of changes to employment programs and employment documents for the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region + Draft employment documents for EMEA countries + Serve as a primary point of contact for local EMEA People (HR) team members + Contribute to change management + Contribute to enablement materials + Serve as point of contact between regional Talent Acquisition (TA) and HR teams for employment programs + Lead compliance efforts for compensation, benefits, and employment programs for EMEA countries + Guide employment setup for company expansions into new territories Required skills + Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of experience working in compliance-focused HR roles + Experience drafting employment agreements, policies, and procedures + Significant research and writing experience, including the ability to analyze data and arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action + Demonstrated understanding of global employment law and regulations and their impact on business operations + Ability to build credible relationships across multiple functions with international partners at varying levels of the company + Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize shifting demands + Ability to respect confidentiality within the team and throughout the organization + Detail-oriented with solid research and analytical skills + Excellent communication and organizational skills + Legal or law degree is a plus Red Hat is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
