Overview
A new job has become available with one of our clients based in the Leicestershire are for an IT Support Technician - Microsoft / SQL This job is with a client at Redline that has a series of complex products provided to large clients. The job will be involved directly with these clients in 1st and possibly some 2nd line support of software provided by the company. In addition, you will work on IT support internally for all company IT users. In some cases this job will provide the opportunity to get involved directly with the R&D team in analytical support and providing feedback to the team based on the studies you do with any faults or errors reported by users of the products. The ideal candidate for the IT Support Technician - Microsoft / SQL job would have the following skills: - Previous work in an IT support role, ideally in a commercial environment - Soid background with MS SQL - Good knowledge of networking (IP, Ports, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Etc.) - Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows XP, 7, 10, and Embedded variants - Practical experience of Microsoft Windows Server, all versions The following skills would be beneficial for the IT Support Technician - Microsoft / SQL job: - Experience working with a support ticketing system - A formal qualification in an IT related discipline - Practical experience of Microsoft Azure - And exposure to firebase and MongoDB technologies would be particularly useful This IT Support Technician - Microsoft / SQL job provides an interesting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about IT and software as a whole to get involved in a broad variety of products in a complex new product design environment.
