Product Manager - Cheltenham - Up To £50k - Permanent Opportunity Your new company A international organisation operating in the Cheltenham area. Your new role The Product Manager will ensure that our product roadmap is aligned with business needs to support both external and internal stakeholders. This role requires strong collaboration skills and a detailed understanding of the software development lifecycle to enable the successful candidate to act as the liaison between technical and operational delivery teams and our clients. The successful candidate requires minimum 2 years of product management/owner experience and the ability to demonstrate a proven track record in the following areas: Taking responsibility for the success of platform/products by contributing towards strategy and vision Determine customer needs and desires by meeting regularly with all stakeholders, including product developers, operational teams, sales and our clients Recommend the nature and scope of present and future products by reviewing product specifications and requirements and appraising new product ideas and product changes Bring new products and features to market by analysing proposed product requirements and product development programs Establishing time schedules with product development and key business stakeholders Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products Provides source data for product communications by defining product marketing communication objectives Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product roadmaps and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests Introduce and promote new products by developing time-integrated plans with implementations and operational teams You will need: Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a variety of different stakeholders across the business A desire to understand user needs, analyse their inputs and offer insight into product strategy The ability to build and maintain clear product roadmaps so that all parties can understand the plans, what is possible, what isn't and the various prioritisation that takes place to pull it all together Manage expectations around product delivery, ensuring that development stays to schedule and that end users are fully aware of upcoming changes and how they might be affected Ensure that efficient communication and collaboration takes place across the business so that deliveries are on time, to a high-quality standard and aligned with key business needs Collation and analysis of user feedback and the preparation of appropriate responses Creating and overseeing product development project plans and their relationship to the high-level product roadmap Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and a high-performance culture What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
