Employee Relations (ER) Manager, permanent, salary up to £50,000 An international HE organisation that owns and operates a number of very well-known London colleges. Client Details An international HE organisation that owns and operates a number of very well-known London colleges. Description Leading on Employment law Leading on redundancies, restructures, grievances, disciplinarians, complex cases, policies and procedures. Managing tribunal cases from start to finish Working with Unions Able to deal with high volume of ER queries Managing a Team of HR / ER Advisors Training managers on ER issues (absence, performance and conduct issues) Coaching and mentoring less experienced team members Produce monthly management reports, spotting trends, conducting root cause analyses and providing resolutions. Reporting on these to the SLT / stakeholders Operating within in large / matrix organisations - providing expert and tailored ER solutions A very proactive approach, a strong problem-solver Viewed as a Leader within the HR team, engaging and inspiring HR colleagues and the wider organisation Deputising in the absence of the Head of HR Profile The ideal candidate: A true ER specialist with strong Generalist experience Extremely proactive - identifying and preventing future problems A very visible and hands-on role Experienced in: Redundancies, restructures, grievances, disciplinarians, complex cases, policies and procedures. Managing ALL aspects of ER casework - including completion of all paperwork (this is not delegated to Managers) Tribunals (from start to completion) Unionised environments High volume of ER queries Managing a team of HR / ER Advisors Training managers to deal with ER issues (absence, performance and conduct issues) Coaching and mentoring less experienced team members Producing monthly management reports, spotting trends, conducting root cause analysis and provide resolutions Large / matrix organisations Private Education experience a huge plus A strong leader - engaging and inspiring Requires minimal direction and can deputise on behalf of Head of HR Job Offer Er Manager role Permanent role Salary up to £55,000 Opportunity to work with an international HE organisation that can boast a number of top London universities as its members.
