Full time permanent position for a Telesales Operative working for a Successful occupational health organisation based in Birmingham Client Details My client is a leading health insurance provider who had urgent vacancies for 3 Telesales advisers for their offices in Birmingham. Description You will contact prospects and former customers with a view to retain /up sell and cross sell products. Responsibilities: Increase the recovery of lapsed policyholders via proactive sales techniques such as standard letters, telephone approaches and following up mail shots Retain existing policyholders via incoming calls who intend to cancel their policy Create and capitalise on any cross and up-selling opportunities via incoming and outgoing calls Ensure accurate records of progress and correspondence are kept Report sales against targets using adequate metrics To work closely with the Assistant Manager, DST, analysing opportunities for further sales, co-ordinating efforts and resources To maintain courtesy, professionalism and high standards of presentation in all communications with customers and potential customers Comply with your obligations under the Company's data protection, information security and other relevant policies, when handling personal data or special categories of sensitive data To carry out appropriate clerical and general duties as may be required from time to time by the Assistant Manager. Profile The ideal applicant will be/have: A background in outbound telesales Experience working to targets Excellent verbal and written communication experience Ability to work well within a team Target driven and money motivated Education GCSE Maths & English Job Offer You will be working in an office of around 40 people and a team of 7. The CEO knows everyone's name and you will be treated as a person. Basic Salary is £21636 raising to £21946 after Probation. OTE is £31,665 Benefits include a subsidised health cash plan on completion of probation, and death in service. The shift pattern is Monday - Thursday from 12pm - 8pm. On Friday you would work 8.45am - 4.45pm or 9.30pm to 5.30pm.
