Your new role As a Purchasing Support Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring an effective and efficient P2P support service is provided to end users. Additionally, you will ensure all requisitions, purchase orders and catalogues are processed correctly and usage trends are quickly spotted. You will Influence end users and help to standardise and rationalise products and services. Assist senior staff to implement change to deliver for clients and continuously improve the service and enhance expertise. What you'll need to succeed A successful candidate will have experience of using 'procure to pay', resolving queries and have knowledge of procurement department procedures for catalogue management. A professional and 'can do' attitude is paramount, whilst continually showing commitment to your own personal and professional development within the organisation. Having exceptional customer service skills and the ability to adhere to strict confidentiality of personal information of patients and staff is essential.
