Overview

Our operations team at Certas Energy are looking for a candidate looking to continue and grow their career in logistics, to join our office in West Thurrock as a Logistics Coordinator. This is a permanent and full time role, which involves working on a shift pattern and weekend working. These shifts will include a combination of 04:00 – 14:30, 06:00 – 17:00, 08:00 – 16:30 and 14:00 – 22:30 By demonstrating strong communication and administration skills, our Logistics Coordinators play a vital role in the day to day running of our operations department. In this role you will be responsible for remotely developing an effective, efficient and productive driver workforce, with focus on delivery of operational excellence and maximising efficiencies. As a Logistics Coordinator you’ll have access to: £24,000 to £26,000 DOE Pension scheme Ride to work scheme Brand discounts through Certas group scheme Buy and sell holiday scheme We’re looking for: Previous experience in a similar role, such as routing or transport planning, is desirable A competent understanding of driver hours regulations and working time directive is compulsory Ability to identify ways to improve existing processes Strong communication skills Attention to detail and administrative skills Company Information: We employ 2,500 colleagues based across our depots around the UK from the highlands of Scotland to the Channel Islands. We recruit sales people to sell our fuel, oils and lubricants as well as drivers to deliver the products to our customers who may be individual home owners, farmers, small or large businesses Also essential to our business are our management teams and colleagues within, Marketing, HR, Finance, IT, Health and Safety and Legal. In addition, we have a dedicated team of service engineers who work within Team Energy.
