Overview
Summary Our client is looking for an Office Administrator to join their successful team. The company carry out repairs to properties following an insurance claim. Working within a team you will be assisting policy holders, liaising with surveyors and contractors, scheduling repairs to the property. You will also complete all required administration. Due to the location of this office you must drive and/or have your own transport as it is not easily accessed on public transport. Working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (but there could be some flexibility with this). Job role and responsibilities This is a busy role where you will be: Providing an excellent customer service to policyholders / homeowners who have made a claim on their home insurance policy due to insured damage Assisting with arranging appointments for surveyors, suppliers and tradespeople to visit the property and carry out the required repairs Taking ownership and managing a case load of property repairs Complete all required administration, processing payments, checking invoices and ensuring the database is kept up to date. What skills/experience will you need? We would welcome applications from candidates who have experience scheduling repairs within the insurance repairs, construction or property maintenance environment. Strong organisational skills Ability to make decisions Good IT skills as a number of systems are used Package details Salary of £22,000 - £25,000, depending on experience.
