Overview

Our client, an international law firm based in the city, are currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant to support their Chief People Officer and Heads of Department in HR. This role offers exposure to working at board level, in particular the CEO's office and Partners within the Board & Management Committee. This role is a 12 month FTC starting in March 2020. As Executive Assistant, your duties would include but not be limited too: Working with the Chief People Officer, CEO’s office and other senior stakeholders in assisting with preparation of sensitive and confidential information/documentation regarding partner appraisals and profit share ("allocations") (including copying, filing, typing). Building relationships with partners, in particular Board Members and the various Heads of Country, Practice and Sectors and HR managers Internationally and be a first line of call for queries. Manage diaries for the Heads of HR (UK), of Learning & Development and of Partner HR as well as the Chief People Officer. Manage the Chief People Officer's email account, dealing with unsolicited emails appropriately and ensuring that the diary has sufficient down time each week. Working closely with the Chief People Officer to manage international workload. Know what needs to be done and making sure tasks are achieved. Taking minutes on conference calls, converting minutes into actions and keeping track of actions. Understand and manage the annual calendar, understand business cycle and organise travel arrangements as necessary. Undertake research, the design and preparation of presentations on specific projects or policies for communication at Board meetings or within the wider partnership. Managing appropriate meetings of HR Professionals from across our offices (e.g. structure, management methods, communication, knowledge management, salaries and other benefits). Our client is looking for someone with experience supporting senior HR professionals. Experience in supporting within a law firm is desirable but not essential.They will offer up to £40k plus benefits.
