Overview

IT Support Engineer (2nd Line) - IT Helpdesk, Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, basic networking - Southampton - acting as an escalation to resolve technical issues passed from a 1stline triage This role is providing a range of 2nd line support for technical issues and problems through to resolution in most cases. With a focus on strong customer service throughout, it's a busy and challenging environment but you'll be joining a good team and have a chance to help shape best practice and improve IT policies & the ways of working to reduce ticket volumes and more quickly solve common issues. You'll need previous IT support experience providing remote support and assistance and be familiar with taking escalated tickets and engaging with a specialist 3rd line team to escalate more complex issues or arrange field engineer visits.
