Finance Assistants required in Coventry with Hays Education Your new company Are you a Finance Assistant or Accountant, looking to work in a school setting? Hays are the market leading recruitment agency in the UK&I and we pride ourselves on experience in matching people to the right role for them. We work with many schools who offer Finance Assistant roles in the local area, on a full or part-time basis. Your new role You will be expected to work between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm Monday - Friday and be available to take morning calls. You will liaise closely with the school's finance manager on a day to day basis, as well as liaising with customers, parents, pupils, staff and suppliers. Taking responsibility of processing funds received and make payments to private suppliers, maintaining cost reports and managing invoices. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will have experience in accounting and finance or equal to degree level. Previous work in a school is desirable but not essential. You will be motivated and self-driven to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Time management and organisation will be key in this fast paced and busy environment, and you must work well with in a team to ensure your department excels.
