Research Finance Manager (Compliance) Ref No: REQ007818 £39,159 to £55,758 per annum Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2022. An exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager has arisen within the Research Finance and Compliance Unit (RFCU) at Coventry University. The role will ideally suit an internal auditor or an accountant who has extensive legal/ contractual knowledge and expertise. RFCU has a wide remit and is responsible for the financial management, contractual compliance and internal assurance of externally funded projects, provision of management accountancy service to Research Centres and financial management of PhD’s with the Coventry University group. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring effective risk management for projects, undertaking internal project compliance assurance reviews, managing external audits and for ensuring financial and contractual compliance of externally funded projects .You will have detailed knowledge of internal and external audits, experience of complex reconciliations and dealing with detailed contractual requirements. You must possess strong communication skills along with highly refined influencing and negotiating skills.
