Overview
We are currently recruiting on behalf our client based near to the City Centre of Coventry, on a temp to perm basis for a Finance Administrator. The role of Finance Administrator is to organise the company's day-to-day financial procedures and manage the office administration to work in an exciting fast-growing technology company based in Coventry. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, producing financial reports and project claims processing reimbursements and managing the general office administration. Ultimately, you will help us manage the day to day finances, office operations, visitor and customer experience effectively. This role requires a friendly disposition with a customer focus and a background in finance. Responsibilities Maintain Financial Records and Project Claims: Review and process expenses Prepare project claims for funded projects General project administration Prepare and collate timesheets Update financial records on a regular basis Manage accounts receivable and payable including payments to suppliers and recovering unpaid invoices Keep records of invoices, receipts and tax payments including systematic filing and secure storage of documents Develop systems and processes to ensure the financial record keeping is up to date Office Administration: Oversee Health & Safety in the office Be the first point of contact for customers and visitors who visit the office and provide a welcoming experience Organise meetings including agendas, minutes, refreshments etc. Oversee general office administration and maintenance. Any other reasonable duties requested by members of the senior management team. Requirements Good people skills and customer service Self-starter and ability to use own initiative Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role Understanding basic accounting Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions) Time-management and organisation skills Confidentiality
