Overview
Your new company A north London Local Authority are looking for a Senior Employment Lawyer to join their Employment tribunal team and Education team. Your new role As an employment Solicitor you will handle a busy caseload up to to 10 cases at anyone time. You will be involved employment tribunal claims from start to finish. You will cover all areas of legal work as required, employment based proceedings in courts, appeals and tribunals and interviewing witnesses and recording witness statements. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for the role, you should be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 3 years PQE. You should have recent experience in the areas of employment and education, as well as experience in the conduct of employment tribunals including advocacy. You will have experience of working within legal services, preferably within a public setting. Finally, you will have strong litigation, communication and interpersonal skills.
