Overview
Abaris International is a small and rapidly growing retailer with over 17 years of experience supplying equipment for Height and Water Safety, Rope Access and Rescue. An opportunity has arisen for a junior logistics coordinator to join our small but busy team. Duties And Responsibilities Order picking, packing and labelling for dispatch Dealing with delivery queries Contacting back order customers when back orders arrive in to firm delivery address Goods inwards tasks Checking goods received against delivery note Date stamping Stock replenishment and rotation (Stockroom / Warehouse and Shop) Assist with stock control Control of packaging General stockroom / warehouse administration Rope cutting and labelling Maintenance and cleanliness of stockroom / warehouse and shop Answering telephone calls and message taking Sales order processing - dealing with customer orders from enquiry to dispatch Dealing with telephone enquiries and customer queries Creating and chasing customer quotations After-sales customer care Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the business Candidates will need to be flexible, have an attention to detail, be organised with an ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines. They must also be self-motivated and professional with good communication skills.
